ELITE EXCELLENCE PSYCHIATRY
ELITE, EXCELLENT CARE FOR A HEALTHY, WHOLE YOU
ABOUT DR. TRENT
Hello and welcome to Elite Excellence Psychiatry!
I am Dr. Maria L. Trent, MD, a double board certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. I'm warm, friendly and I'm here to help you get through some of life's most difficult moments.
I've always been fascinated by people. I enjoy talking with people and getting to know their stories, their interests, their passions, what drives their behavior and choices, and I especially enjoy learning about what sparks their resilience in the face of adversity.
Each of us experiences hardships and unexpected challenges. I believe each challenge is a wonderful opportunity for us to grow, change, and emerge with better tools and coping strategies to deal with future challenges.
However, not all of us feel that we alone are able to make the transition from hardship to healing and trouble to triumph. I'm here to assist those of you who feel they need a bit of encouragement, support, direction, and clarity on their path to newfound strength and resiliency.
I'm committed to educating you about your mental health, your treatment options, and ways to achieve and maintain overall health and wellness, in spite of life's challenges.
My goal is to empower you to achieve your most elite, excellent existence through consistent, balanced care of the mind, body, and spirit. I personally strive to embody the principles I teach.
I offer in-person and tele-psychiatry (remote video-conferencing) services convenient for you and your family. Your personalized treatment plan may include a combination of the following: Individual Therapy, Meditation and Positive Visualizations, Physical Movement/Fitness, Nutritional Coaching, Medication Management, and I will soon be offering Life Coaching. If you already have a therapist, I'll work collaboratively with them to optimize your care.
